Always in shadow….

Are they also popular? i speak about stars’ relatives. Brothers, sisters, nephews, cousins…  Usually we do not know about them and do not consider themselves to be as popular as their famous siblings are. They stay in shadow and they are proud to have such popular relatives. Or maybe they are very jealous because of their close people’s popularity…
Who knows… But maybe it is the easiest way to become popular – to be in shadow of your brother but be known by all his fans for example. What do you think?

Are rich people crazy a bit?

We all have our personal dreams about getting rich, perhaps by winning the lottery or maybe with the help of a generous benefactor. But have you ever thought about what would you do with all that money if you had it?

Love makes you lose your head, and when you are rich and powerful you sometimes find really extravagant ways to show how strong your feelings are – starting from Wonders of the World and finishing with your own ear.

Celebrities, like anybody of us, love the joyous festivities of holidays, such as birthdays and baby showers. However, what do Hollywood’s finest receive from their families, friends, and co-stars on those memorable events worth partying for?

Being as rich as Richard Branson seems pretty cool.  You can hold parties for your airline and then hot chicks show up and you can pick them up and do whatever you want with them.

Look, now I wanna introduce you some.

David Backham once gave his wife Victoria, a diamond necklace encrusted with over a hundred rubies worth a cool $1.2 million. Wow, yeah?

On the same Christmas Victoria Backham gave her hubby, David, a gleaming Rolls Royce Phantom. (Perhaps it was revenge! LOL)

Maria Carey sent to the family and friends, Carey-branded tights studded with the real diamonds that cost $15,000 each.

Jennifer Lopez bought for hubby Marc Anthony a Speker C8. It is described as an exclusive Dutch supercar costs approximately $250,000

Celebrities sometimes get their own shows that allow viewers to watch the celebrity go through his or her day. It can be quite intriguing to witness glamorous celebrity deal with the daily grind, like Britney, Ozzy Osborne, Paris Hilton. The recent example is Virtual Wife, whose author is Natalia Bloomberg, not a reality as we got used to talk about, but a video blog of the same kind.

According to newzline.com, Britney Spears spends $102,000 a month on entertainment – going out, gifts and vacations… But hey, Christmas is coming, maybe it’s time to think about presents?

Forget about receiving lumps of coal, when you are a celebrity you can give the most extravagant and at times the most ridiculous holiday gifts to your BF, spouse, or child.

I have a guilty pleasure of reading up on Hollywood’s extravagant lifestyle, so when gift-giving holidays come around, you better believe I really wanna know what kind of outrageous presents the stars got for their significant others!

One year Courtney Cox gave hubby David Arquette a carousel horse, Jay-Z gave Beyonce a platinum cell phone, and Sarah Larson received a romantic night in a $40,000 hotel suite from her then-flame George Clooney.

Ooh la la!

And here I am happy if I get flowers and chocolate!

What do you think? Are these gifts crazy or romantic? Besides, what you would do with all that money if you had it?

Look, I have an idea!!! Maybe it’s time to think about your beloveds?

The Golden Vibrator is cleverly constructed, pleasing, and chic. At the price of $1500.00, this premium sex toy will seduce and satisfy buyers. This item is packaged in a custom-made wooden box and includes a charger, a satin carrying pouch, and an instructional booklet detailing the best ways for a woman to use it. Combining functionality and femininity, this item is 18 karat gold-plated, weighs approximately five ounces, and is three inches long. Huh?

Your ideas?

Dear Autumn! Show your REAL face, please!

Today I read different articles here, at wordpress.com, and found one nice blog entry about the beauty of such a season as autumn (or fall as somebody calls it). There were beautiful and colourful pictures in this blog and a great Ode to Autumn…. Do not think that I am a pessimist or I can not see positive and wonderful moments in everything! It is not true! I’ve just thought about the second face of the autumn. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT AUTUMN HAS TWO FACES? Hopeless romantics see only its “beautiful” face, pessimists see only its “ugly” face. It is autumn who chooses which face to show you! But what if you see both its faces? Who are you then? A realist?… Ok, I just wanted to show you the second autumn’s face!

Dear Autumn, nothing personal! Just a bussiness!

When you are a world-famous woman who is fed up with everything and who does not know what interesting to do you can just get married… again… with a young and handsome guy! And this fact will not be a surprise for anyone because you are A STAR! And, as everybody knows, “stars” have their own whims. Vice versa, everybody will be jealous: you are an “old bag” (who looks great anyway – of course, you have money to look good after yourself) but you have a dandy as a husband. It does not matter that he is in love more with your money than with you but you do not believe that fact! It is really TRUE AND ETERNAL LOVE!!!

The most famous “grannies” with their “grandsons”.

If you are famous you can stay young!

I’ve noticed that I write preferably about negative sides of fame here. But it does not mean that there are no positive things of being a celebrity at all. We have great examples of “stars” who are able stay beautiful and young because of their fame and money.

Some of them look even better now than in the past.

Well, they should stay young and pretty because they are public. But I think you would agree with me that there is nothing wrong with a desire to stay beautiful and young even if you are not a celebrity and a public person.

Popularity is good, but when you may be deprived of life because of popularity – here is much to ponder.
Lately, the incident had happened in New York, where the famous actor of the movie “Twilight” Robert Pattinson tried to escape from female fans and almost landed under the wheels of the taxi.

The event took place in the heart of New York. According to an witness’s words, Robert wanted to run across the street, and only thanks to the driver’s excellent response Pattinson was not under the wheels of the machine with the cups. The car just pushed Robert, after which he was able to leave the scene of the incident himself.

Knowing people tell that Robert’s life became to be a continual hell. He is being persecuted, he must be constantly hiding. The crowds of fans are on duty near his house and shooting area. And despite of such vicissitudes Robert Pattinson was always kind to his fans.

Celebrities Who Died from Drugs

People, today I would like to talk about the fame as a curse of celebrities. Everybody knows that being famous is not so easy, and sometimes our “stars” is too week to refuse from some bad things their fame brings them. One of such things is DRUGS. We know many celebrities who tried drugs at least once. We know many celebrities who had been arrested for taking drugs. But sometimes the result of taking drugs can be fatal! You understand what I mean – DEATH.

I found a list of 18 Celebrities Who Died from Prescription Drugs. I will not take your time and write about all of them. I am sure their names are well-known for you. You can see all of them here:

http://www.pharmacytechs.net/blog/18-celebrities-who-died-from-prescription-drugs

I just wanted to write about some of them here for you to understand the idea. It is always pity when good people suffer from their fame.

BruceLeeBruce Lee
Date: July 20, 1973
Drug: Equagesic (painkiller)

The iconic martial artist died in Hong Kong at the age of 32 from swelling of the brain (“acute cerebral edema”) caused by an allergic reaction to the prescription painkiller equagesic, which contains aspirin and the muscle relaxant meprobamate. The pill was given to him by an actress friend after he complained of a headache.

The controversial model was 39 when she was found dead in a Florida hotel. After an autopsy, the cause of death was found to be accidental “acute combined drug intoxication,” athough the chloral hydrate (AKA Noctec) specifically was listed in the coroner’s report as the “toxic/lethal drug.”

ElvisPresley

Elvis Presley

Drugs: As many as 14 different drugs, including codeine (painkiller) and methaqualone, AKA Quaaludes (sedative)

The official cause of death of the King of Rock ‘n Roll, then 42, was cardiac arrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat), but it’s generally believed that prescription drugs contributed to his heart condition. Although initial statements from the medical examiner excluded drugs as a cause of death, further investigations found that the singer had been prescribed between 5,000 and 10,000 pills in the eight-month span before his death.

MarilynMonroeMarilyn Monroe

August 5, 1962
Drugs: Pentobarbital (AKA Nembutal) and chloral hydrate (sleeping pills)

The sex symbol actress was found dead at age 36 in her Los Angeles home early on the morning of August 5. The toxicology report showed high levels of two barbiturates in her blood: Nembutal and chloral hydrate. Monroe’s “acute barbiturate poisoning” was listed as a “probable suicide,” but many people believe that it was an accidental overdose or even a murder.

SteveClark

Steve Clark

At the age of 30, Def Leppard guitarist Clark was found dead by his girlfriend in his London home. Find positive and negative sides of fame!

My friends, let’s continue discussing such a difficult aspect as FAME! Do you want to be famous? To become a celebrity one day? Please, think twice! These people have thought about advantages and disadvantages of being famous already. You are welcome to join them and share your thoughts with us.

 ( the source is:  http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080116193818AA2RbZo )

Advantages:

Speaker1:

People always agree with you. Wealth may well go with the fame. You will probably be very happy with your success.

Speaker2:
1. Able to afford anything
2. Hanging out with famous people
3. Attending and owning expensive places or things

Speaker3:

popularity, money, almost “above the law”, hanging around famous people.

Speaker4:

lots of attention, usually lots of wealth, and many opportunities.

Disadvantages:

Speaker1:

People will always agree with you and you might well become a big-headed fool who just talks about them self all day. You will have to go on holiday far, far away so as not to get recognized. Your privacy will be intruded upon by the media.

Speaker2:
1. Invasion of privacy
2. Might become drug addict, homeless, alcoholic, and etc.
3. Become greedy and quite self centered

Speaker3:

invasion of privacy, the need of spending on expensive clothes- you can call it somewhat becoming a snob by peer pressure- in this case tabloids. otherwise you get on the “worst dressed lists”, etc. 3rdly- getting masked if you make a mistake- or simply be human.

Speaker4:

loss of privacy, responsibility to the public, no longer appreciated for the true you, but only the famous image.
